About Our Company

Vanessa Jane is a family-owned business based in Indiana. We have a warehouse location, where we store inventory and process orders on a daily basis. Our warehouse is a pet free and smoke free environment, so you can be assured that none of your amazing merchandise will arrive smelling of smoke, or covered in cat hair!

When we started this business, it was with the end goal that we would provide the same name brand merchandise as other major retailers, at a much lower price. That's why we source all of our inventory from reputable sales channels, including:

Our Story

An unexpected course correction

The most dramatic changes in our lives can sometimes be defined by a single moment, or by a series of events that culminate in a drastic shift of our perceived course. For Vanessa Jane founder, Martha Russel, a series of unfortunate events would lead to the creation of a thriving new business that is, even now, creating bright new opportunities in a host of other people's lives. 

From broken to building

An old idiom says that misfortunes never come singly. For Martha, this was true. In 2016, a host of tragedies found her at her lowest point. Giving up would have been the easy route. Instead, she took 5 boxes of used items, and stayed up all night, in a rented bedroom, putting those items online. Soon, those few boxes turned into over a dozen, and then over 50. The rented room was soon behind her, and a new home became a temporary base of operations. 50 boxes became hundreds, and what had started as a small side project had become a business in less than a year. 

The business moved to a small office space, with enough room to meet its needs for a few years to come. Or, so she thought. Less than a year later, the entire business was moving again, this time to a much larger warehouse. Today, we process thousands of orders a month across multiple sales channels, and all across the world. We carry trusted, brand name goods across dozens of categories, and we ship the majority of orders within a single business day. And, we continue to secure more sources of inventory, to bring it to you at prices that are unbeatable, anywhere.
