The biggest holiday shopping surge of the year is just weeks away, and here at Vanessa Jane, we're making sure that you're in the know about the latest consumer recalls. Recalls happen all the time. From cell phones that burst into flames, to car seats that put your child in danger, the world of product manufacturing is filled with mistakes that can, potentially, endanger you or your loved ones. While most manufacturers have a great record of safe products, even the best of them have bad runs. Federal Cartridge Recalls Blackhawk Gun Holsters Due to Injury Hazard

The holster design can change the position of the safety switch on the firearm without the user knowing it. When this occurs, if the trigger is pulled the gun could fire unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard to the user and bystander.

The recalled dressers are unstable and can tip over if not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.
